President's Message

Greetings from the National President

Welcome to the official Website of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. This website is designed to help you learn more about our sorority, provide information about our leadership programs, and be a resource for our sisters and visitors.

OUR STORY

By the beginning of the 1980s, more and more women from culturally diverse backgrounds were pursuing college degrees. Our Founding Mothers decided to create a support system for these women, a student organization that celebrates diversity and fosters progress. These five women founded Mu Sigma Upsilon, with the intent to unify women while observing their differences.

A quarter of a century since its inception, MSU has grown to a membership of over 800 women with recognized chapters in 9 states across the country. And although the 21st century poses different challenges for college women, one thing remains the same – Mu Sigma Upsilon is still a home away from home for all its sisters.
